Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)

Demonstrate your commitment to your employees’ mental health and wellbeing, reducing sickness absences and promoting a healthy workplace by training an equal number of mental health first aiders as physical first aiders. Learning takes place through a mix of group activities, presentations and discussions.

You will receive a course manual, a quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan and a workbook.

Fire Warden Training

This Fire Warden training course is a certificated course that defines, assists and instils confidence in those people who have a key role in the management of fire safety in the workplace. This course covers both the emergency and non-emergency issues of this vital role. The fire warden training course complies with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and Health & Safety legislation.

  • Responsibilities and the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order
  • Your evacuation arrangements
  • Undertaking the specific procedures in the event of a fire as per your Emergency Plan

First Aid at Work

Overview

People at work can fall ill or suffer injuries at any time and it is important that they receive immediate attention. First aid at work covers the arrangements that must be made. A qualified first aider can save lives and prevent minor injuries becoming major ones. It is also the law to have a qualified first aider in the workplace in certain situations. Health and Safety Awareness

Overview

You will learn about the importance of health and safety in the workplace, who is responsible for it, and gain some practical tips for carrying out simple risk assessments.

This course raises awareness of mental health levels in the workplace and how best to provide support.
